在10天前，苹果发布最后一轮OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5测试版后，今天苹果正式发布其OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5正式版，版本内建号为12F37。根据苹果官方的更新开发LOG，显示OS X 10.8.5修正和提升了目前已发现的各种BUG和相关性能。如提高AFP文件传输性能，增强Xsan和在线传输大文件时的可靠性提高等。

本次更新仍然是以提升稳定性和部分应用执行时的性能为主，建议所有 Mountain Lion 用户更新。
主要更新内容如下：
修正了可能阻止”邮件”显示邮件的问题；
提高了 AFP 文件通过 802.11ac Wi-Fi 传输的性能；
解决了可能阻止屏幕保护程序自动启动的问题；
提高了 Xsan 的可靠性；
提高了通过以太网传输大文件时的可靠性；
提高了到开放目录服务器身份验证时的性能；
其他稳定性和性能方面更新。
